Punch Hutton '89

Punch Hutton '89 spent 17 years as the deputy editor of Vanity Fair. In her tenure at the magazine, she was editor of the "Fanfair" section and re-introduced and edited the party pages in the "Fairground" section. Punch also launched the magazine's annual gift guide and made it one of Vanity Fair's most popular compilations.

Hutton started her career at Vanity Fair in 1998 as editor Graydon Carter's assistant who had this to say about Punch's departure in an email to magazine staff, "After 17 enormously successful and Fanfair-filled years with Vanity Fair, Punch has decided she wants to make a change and move on once she has closed the April issue pages…I fully expect that she will be as successful in this new chapter of her life as she was in her Vanity Fair one."

Punch was one of four deputy editors at Vanity Fair. She is also the creator of her own fashion line, Punch Shifts, consisting of shift dresses.

Stay tuned to hear about her next move!
